Q: How did Green Beans Coffee Company get its start?
A: Brothers Jason and Jon Araghi created Green Beans Coffee Company. Both men were successful business consultants who were offered an opportunity to create the first Seattle-style coffeehouse in Saudi Arabia. With Jason's in-depth business experience and Jon's vast knowledge of the coffee industry, they opened a tremendously popular cafe that drew the attention of U.S. military leaders from a nearby base. The brothers soon opened up their first on-base cafe in 1997 and their business quickly grew to the 55 current locations. Q: Where did Green Beans Coffee Company get its name?
A: Since its inception, Green Beans Coffee Company has always tried to buy from suppliers that offer organically grown coffee. Sometimes the realities of the marketplace make that difficult, but the goal remains. Besides the company's efforts to be environmentally "green," a lot of Green Beans Coffee Company's customers, who proudly serve in the United States military, also wear green. With our growth into the U.S. market Green Beans locations will become know as Green Beans Coffee Worldcafé, which embraces our history and speaks to our future.
Q: What kind of products does Green Beans Coffee Worldcafé offer?
A: The international cafes of Green Beans Coffee Worldcafé offer coffee and espresso-based drinks, teas, smoothies and pastries. The new Green Beans Coffee Worldcafes are now open in the United States and feature the same array of delicious foods and beverages from a double-shot, with-whip iced mocha to a straight up cup of coffee.
Q: What makes Green Beans different from other coffee retailers?
A: Green Beans has a unique heritage with, and dedication to, the troops of the United States military. The company not only provides these brave soldiers with some of the comforts of home when they are abroad, but also donates a portion of its gross sales to organizations that are important to men and women in uniform, including Soldiers' Angels, The Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund and the Pat Tillman Foundation.

A: Green Beans Coffee Company is headquartered in Larkspur, California in the North Bay area of San Francisco. Green Beans owns cafes at military posts throughout the Middle East, Southwest Asia and Africa. The new Green Beans Coffee Worldcafes will be located throughout the United States.

A: Green Beans isn't a political entity. The company's mission is simply to support United States military personnel in times of peace and times of war. The company's respect for these troops' deeds and sacrifices will continue before, during and after any situation that requires their presence.

A: Give him or her the gift of a pre-paid Green Beans Coffee Card. You can purchase the card online through the "Buy a Coffee Card" link on this site's homepage. Within hours, your friend or loved one can pick up the card at his or her local Green Beans Coffee location, which can be used to buy his or her favorite coffee, tea, smoothie or snack. Cards are available at select locations currently, but will soon be rolled out at all Green Beans Coffee Worldcafé locations. They are available in $20, $50 or $100 amounts.

A: Green Beans understands the importance of everyone's unique nutritional needs. Because of this, you can find nutrition facts for all the beverages and foods served at worldwide locations on this website. From the homepage, click on the "Menu" link.
