  • Q: How did Green Beans Coffee Company get its start?

    A: Brothers Jason and Jon Araghi created Green Beans Coffee Company. Both were successful businessmen who were offered an opportunity to create the first Seattle-style coffeehouse in Saudi Arabia. With Jason's in-depth business experience and Jon's vast knowledge of the coffee industry, they opened a tremendously popular cafe that drew the attention of U.S. military leaders from a nearby base. The brothers soon opened their first on-base cafe in 1997 and their business quickly grew to more than 70 domestic and international locations.   • Q: Where did Green Beans Coffee Company get its name?

    A: Since its inception, Green Beans Coffee Company has always tried to source from suppliers that offer organically grown coffee. Sometimes the realities of the marketplace make that difficult, but the goal remains. Besides the company's efforts to be environmentally "green," a lot of Green Beans Coffee Company's customers, who proudly serve in the United States military, also wear green.

  • Q: What kind of products does Green Beans Coffee Company offer?

    A: The international cafes of Green Beans Coffee Company offer coffee and espresso-based drinks, teas, smoothies, pastries and a variety of fresh-baked goods. Our domestic Green Beans Coffee cafes feature the same array of delicious foods and beverages from a double-shot, with-whip iced mocha to a straight up cup of coffee.   • Q: Can I buy Green Beans Coffee to brew at home?

    A: Yes! We sell a broad assortment of our premium organic coffees plus all of the accessories needed to brew at home on our website as well as at all of our domestic Green Beans cafes. Click here to visit our Online Store.

  • Q: When I shop at the Green Beans Online Store, how is my order shipped?

    A: International orders for armed services personnel are shipped APO or FPO via USPS. For domestic orders, we use the US Postal Service and UPS. During the check-out process, you are given the opportunity to choose your shipping carrier as well as your level or service: ground or express.

  • Q: I have a friend or loved one stationed abroad in the military. What can I do to lift their spirits?

    A: Give him or her the gift of a pre-paid Green Beans Coffee Card. You can purchase the card by clicking This Link or by clicking the Coffee Cards tab on the home page of our website. When you make your purchase, we'll add an extra 10% to the card value as our way of saying thanks. Green Beans offers prepaid, reloadable Coffee Cards at select U.S. military bases in the Middle East, Southwest Asia and Africa. A Green Beans Coffee Card is easier to carry than cash and when the balance runs low, additional funds can be added. Coffee Cards are available in $20, $50 and $100 denominations. Within hours, your friend or loved one will be notified via email to pick up the card at his or her local Green Beans café for use in purchase of coffees, teas, smoothies or snacks.
    Coffee Cards can also be purchased as an anonymous donation to soldiers, and companies are also welcome to purchase Coffee Cards in larger quantities for corporate giving opportunities. If you are interested in corporate giving, click here to request more information.

    A: CUP OF JOE FOR A JOE gives everyone an opportunity to connect with and express their support for our men and women in uniform through the simple act of buying a cup of premium organic coffee and having it delivered along with their own personalized message of thanks to an anonymous Soldier, Airman, Marine or Sailor serving overseas.     A: Green Beans Coffee Company is privately held and does not offer publicly traded stock. However, the Company is developing and will soon introduce a franchise program for Green Beans domestic cafes.     A: Green Beans Coffee Company isn't a political entity. The company's mission is simply to support United States military personnel in times of peace and times of war.
